Generating sales online comes from trust! When posting to Social Media Platforms with the aim of making sales, you need to work harder to build trust. That's because there is a lot of distrust on Social media. Would you click a buy now button on a Social Media post from a company you've never heard of? I know I wouldn't!
Unlike Amazon or eBay who have been spending billions of dollars and countless hours building trust with their audience over the years, Social Media Platforms have not spent anywhere near the same time, money, and energy building trust.
A true pillar of content success is to use your content to talk to people who don't know you! Don't just talk to people who already know you, we need to find new clients and customers via your content. When posting on Social Media Platforms a lot of your videos and your content generally will need to build trust between you and your audience/potential clients.
When you talk to people who have never met you before or ever heard of your brand what you're wanting to do is to build a relationship with them. Build a point of view in their mind that they can trust you! At the end of the day if you want people to "buy now" you need to educate your potential clients via your content (including videos) that they can know, like, and trust you!
